The smooking theme intrigues me. It seems that the self-portrait at the beginnin might show a man with an artificial voice box--perhaps the repair after throat cancer surgery. The smoking in subsequent drawings is then perhaps a comment on the choices these people are making. Loved the faces, and variety, by the way. The women's bodies were great. The drawing of the young man (?) with the gun pointing under his chin--or through his chin--is really creepy; perhaps another choice, more direct than smoking? Thanks for following my little effort.

What is the symbolism of smoking?
