This is my attempt to illustrate 21 of 400 stanzas by master Aryadeva, to show the sufferings of all beeings (and maybe a way out of it). I think the illustration of philosophical, buddhist topics is a worthwhile art-task, but also very difficult; for example: how to draw the emptiness of things? But there´s no project without inspiration ans help. My great thanks to Tibetisches Zentrum e.V., Hamburg, through which I met Aryadeva´s Stanzas, also to my husband Henning Richter and my son Imre Wang for philosophical disscussion. Page one and cover "verses from ancient cylon" is not corect at all. Aryadeva was born in Ceylon, but went to southern India, studied in the monastic university of Nalanda and was a sholar of the indian master Nagarjuna, lived most time in Shatavahana district. He probably lived, teached ans died in India.
