Raised in Panama surrounded by color and culture, Krystle Holnes artwork reflects on various points of her childhood and Panamanian life. The sketchbook was the catalyst to refocus her whimsical love for making art to a more serious vision, producing work that shares a feeling or memory.
Krystle is motivated by color and movement. As an artist she feels it's her job to be a visual translator. Her love for food, family, and free time is heavily represented throughout the sketchbook, one could say they fuel her creativity ultimately. A project that took over a year to create, takes you on a journey through Krystle's mind. This may be a blue print for future works. Keep a lookout.
