I chose "go-between" as my theme, as connections interest me. I kept the original paper so used pencil crayon, light collage, prints and stamping as they suited the paper weight. "Go-between" informed each spread and I free-associated objects or events from my day.
I loved the size and feel of this sketchbook and enjoyed working within the confines of its size and paper quality. My goal was to become more familiar with pencil crayons. Light, texture and emotion motivate me to respond as an artist. My physical surroundings and daily work provide a rich sources of inspiration.
