Cheryl Anne loves to design her art pieces around the good things in life that God has created.
Her Sketchbook approach was plain and simple. At the time she received her sketchbook, she was involved with a bible study. The study at church was focused on the book of Genesis.
She had made some kiln fired enameled animals using copper and Vitreous enamels from the Thompson Enamel Company. Unknowingly the animals she made were talked about in Genesis. So she decided to focus on Gods wonderful creation of the world. One of the creations being the animals. Cheryl Anne loves all types of animals and she loves working with enamels.
This is her first public works showcasing her enamel pieces. The enamel pieces had to be photographed, since the pieces of enamel would have made her book more than 1 inch in thickness. She was also concerned the original enameled pieces would fall out of the book, during travels.
