As a Southerner from North Carolina, Amy Bergeron sends everyone a "HOT-Diggity-Dog HEY Y'ALL!!" Amy began writing as a teen in the 1980s during high school. Although her hobby was put on hold for two decades, she resumed her beloved writing in 2008. She often spins radiant cartwheels into short stories and splices linear somersaults into poetry. She’s influenced and inspired by her parents, seven siblings, and her first-grade teacher as well as two high school English teachers. After graduation and years of community college, she began her 18-year career as a color design specialist for a global carpet and textile employer. Her refreshing highlights of writing focus on nature, family and friendship and unforgettable, noteworthy destinations. She continues to send poetic entries thorough the correspondence of legally blind individuals like herself. Among the Kannapolis chapter of the NC Writers' Network, she became a 2017 published writer. Amy resides in Mt. Pleasant with her husband of 29 years. They have a remarkable, young adult daughter, one dog named Maebell and a twelve-year-old, black and white feline, Domino. While Amy approached her sketchbook with a gallery of natural rapport, the signature hospitality of her ideas began jumping up and down! This therapeutic experience motivated her passionate abilities. Witnessing its authenticity, her new adaptations blended youthful properties into her lifeline. Although Amy has been legally blind since 2013, her winning possibilities ALWAYS sing, and her visions ALWAYS shine~!
