I get frustrated a lot, (it's a german trait I think). Mostly with how my home is described, London. I was seriously frustrated with June 2017. I work next to London Bridge, where terroists killed Innocent people who was having fun in borough market. Apparently we was 'reeling' according to America. Londoners dont 'reel'. The only time we really lose our poop is when someone puts milk in before the hot water when making a tea.
So. This is about the London I know, the stories of my family who was refugees to this city and welcomed them in, and fought for them. Owning markets, working in markets. Jack the Ripper. The blitz. East end culture. The battle of cable street. Coffee obsessed. And the best football club in the world. West Ham. (And no, I'm not ever calling it soccer. That's just insulting.)
Liberal. I don't have to fight to get equal rights for LBGT+.
We are creative. We have free entry art museums, open air artists and amazing music.
Historical. Our city predates Rome.
Plus. We have the queen.
And it's my home.
