Claire Davenhall is an International Artists who has studied BA(hons) Fine Art at Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen, Athens School of Fine Art & North Karelia Polytechnic in Finland.
She migrated to Western Australia in 2007, where she exhibits her work in beautiful locations such as Sculpture by the Sea in Cottlesloe, Swell Sculpture Festival in Queensland, Castaways in Rockingham and Brighton Jetty Classic Sculptures in South Australia. She was awarded Winner of the Shinju Matsuri in Broome 2016 and Major Prize Winner of the Drift Installation Awards 2017. Claire has also been nominated for an International Community, Participatory and Libraries Award with The Big Draw – The world’s largest drawing festival in 2017.
She takes her inspiration from poems, quotes and found objects, she likes to discover delicate, intricate, unique objects and engages with the environment in remote places. She continues to work in both Art & Education as Facilitator, Lecturer and Practitioner.
