I took some film footage my grandfather took of a family holiday in 1965, featuring my father and family relaxing at a small coastal town called Hastings Point, in northern New South Wales, Australia. I spent a week in the same place retracing my families experiences and overlapping my own over 50 years later. It is encouraging to know the quiet and largely unspoiled natural beauty of the beaches and creeks remain the same. Connecting through the experiences of relaxing beach holidays.
