Art is my passion - in any way I can explore, express, and create it. Doodling from my imagination is relaxing and therapeutic. I've been doodling faces in my art journals for several years. The inclusion of third eyes and words with the drawn faces reflects my interest in intuition, spirituality, and inner wisdom - based in the historical significance of the third eye in Hinduism. I prefer to write in a "free writing" style, as I can develop a flow and rhythm as I write, and I'm easily able to express my thoughts and emotions this way - through words and form that don't have to make sense.
Keeping an art journal and sketchbook has changed my life. It is the most honest form of creative expression that I've found. I love that it's portable and that I can share my work with friends and viewers online, as well as look back at older, completed art journals and sketchbooks years later.
