I am a lifelong learner teaching photography at my alma mater. I love to take experimental shots of light painting. I also love to take floral photos of native plants. They remind me of my grandmother and my childhood at her farm. When my father passed away, I started posting images on Instagram with the #myviewtonight tag. A former student gave me a book about this artist who finally gets to paint landscapes when he gets to heaven. This was my father. He was color blind but now, according to the book, he can see all of the colors of the rainbow and uses them every night. My hashtag project started with resuming trips to his beloved lake house. It took a while before we would even drive his boat. He was our captain. It started to restore my sole again. I was reminded that I am a lover of life and a life long learner sent here to share my passion and hopefully instill this passion in my students.
