Growing up outside of Asheville NC, I studied fine art, now a former design student of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro graduated back in 2009 from the Interior Architecture program. I am always search out new ways to plug into the world in hopes of finding that right creative outlet where I can be creative and collaborate with other artist to fine tune concepts. I've been working a host of odd jobs since graduating; currently working at a locally owned retail shop in downtown Durham that's always been withing a block radius since of where it now stands since1969.
I undertook the theme superhero's in everyday cloths as a challenges sense I raillery draw people, mainly focusing on everyday objects and perspectives indoor/exterior. Hoping that if I am to draw people that are recognizable I won't cheat and make them into generic faces. As Americans we spend most of our days working I figured that dressing these superhero's 'everyday work cloths' would be the most interesting approach. My hope is that you approach my sketchbook with an open mind, haven't ever drawn a superhero before I picked up this undertaking.
Hope you enjoy, Sara M. Gray
