I'm a Texan-New Yorker, painter, printmaker, doodler, writer, collector of passport stamps. My preferred printmaking technique is silkscreen. When drawing, I prefer pen and ink and work mostly with rapidographs. For painting, I mostly work on paper, and like working best in gouache and watercolor. Most of my work leans more heavily on the fartsy end of the artsy fartsy continuum. I like doing things that suggest a narrative rather than provide one. For this sketchbook, I picked one of the older topics, Make Mine a Double. I filled it with images of pairs, couples, twins, and things that come in twos. You can find me on Instagram: @susannemreece
