I am a designer with experience in painting, drawing, sculpture, fashion design, computer graphics, directing, storyboards, photography and teaching. I currently work blending various textures and repurposed materials designing: wearable art, masks, costumes, installations and props.
I am creative problem solver with a unique visual expertise in designing: wearable art, eye-catching installations, making connections for product desirability, and generating innovative ways to think about art and the use of space.
I am attracted to the dark and light nature of struggles and translate this into an elegant theater of subject matter stretching it beyond original form and providing new contexts of opposition: chaos/calm, submissive/control, disturbing/alluring, beauty/dark.
Containers are substrates for reoccurring signifiers staged in costume: masks, figures, shoes, chairs, glass, textiles and more.
I use an assemblage of materials, repurposing them on surfaces: textural fibers, seasonal materials, broken glass, tar gel, and other ephemera - Deconstruct/Reconstruct designing new and unexpected forms.
