My name is Ethan Campbell and I'm a visually impaired artist who aspires towards writing and drawing comic books. I'd also enjoy pursueing the creation of animated series and movies. The Sketchbook Project allows me an outlet to get my work on my first comic published in a viewable format for the masses. This allows me a great oppertunity while finishing my college degree in Creative Writing minoring in Film Studies since it gives me something substantial to show companies I hope to apply to for work in the future like DC comics, or Image.
Mirrororrim is my parody superhero comic story I've been working on since my last Screenplay workshop. Originally designed for a one episode pilot, I felt it should grow into a comic book series. Following Scott Matthews, public superhero who doesn't follow traditional superhero methods, and his boyfriend, Thomas Klark, I hope to explore a humerous yet serious approach to the world of comics and superheroes. I'm especially interested in exploring the depths and levels to the supervillain and how the impractical primary color villains of the Silver Age stack up to a more Modern Age villain theory; i.e. Adam West Batman's villains compared to The Dark Knight trilogy with Heath Ledger's Joker.
