I first approached my sketchbook as an exploration of my impulses, observation of the thoughts in me that were longing to be exposed. As the months went by, I noticed recurring thoughts and a need to organize them, to create a little bit more of a background so I could give a voice to those creepy forms...I think I ended up nurturing them so they could release more light and power and speak to me. Some times worked better than other but I gave them permission and a chance to give me keys on both my creative process and challenges in my life. It makes me think that this is how we can turn our pains and struggles into useful things for ourselves so they serve us and the world.
