I started making Art late in life. My mother is an amazing artist and I always felt I had not talent so I did not create. As I got older, I found I love creating and some people find my work inspiring. I believe there are no mistakes when creating - if something does not turn out the way you expected, then you move in a different direction. If you are really unhappy with it, walk away for a few days and come back. Usually you have a different view. I am passionate about random words of kindness and most of art work I give away with these words attached. I try to role model for my own girls that creating is about the process and how to celebrate your creativity rather than stifle it and try to conform. This process of the Sketchbook is a little scary for me because I am putting myself out there for others to see but this is something I have been contemplating for a few years and felt it was time to face my fears. I hope you enjoy what you find on these pages. Remember life is meant to be lived, enjoy, be kind, love one another and make time to create.
