I hold the strong belief that words can only go so far to capture what makes life worthwhile to live. Much of my art attempts to illustrate music and ideas instead of realistic images. Though this sketchbook is totally non-sequitur, I don't view this as an artistic fallacy. It truly is a reflection of whatever thoughts were running through my head when I felt inclined to put colors on the page. I still haven't decided what all of the symbols and phrases in this book mean to me, so I'm hoping that you allow yourself to decide their meaning as it relates to you. I also hope that you literally stop to smell the roses attached to the pages of this sketchbook- the red one reminded me of dew on a cold morning and the pink one was sweet, almost like a peach. My main inspirations are music and people. Music, which I experience as color in my head, motivates me to create color combinations that I've never seen in real life. People give me a drive to improve the world, and I think that one of the best ways to do that is through creating. Amor tutti fa uguali
