I grew up in a rural part of Nebraska, which impacted the way I see the world. It taught me to appreciate open landscapes and visual textures that remain with me. This environment connected me to the earth, regeneration and seasons. It was here where the natural layering process of life and decay entered my visual world. I start drawing and collecting objects. It was this love of drawing that lead me to art school where I graduated with a BFA from Cornish College of the Arts, Seattle, WA. I live and work in Seattle, WA.
