I am at a threshold in time: Where is the next footfall taking me? It is not an easy passage. Anxiousness, heartache, and fear are present here. But there is also learning, discovery, and excitement in liminal spaces. But I must give up the need to know...and the need to know it right now!
Accordingly, I am staying curious about the next phase of life and I want to live within the mystery of what is and what may be. Painting, writing, and prayer are the ways in which I process experiences outside of my usual cognitive reasonableness and dulled awareness so I am employing these.
A threshold can be a tricky place to stand. Especially if there is no known "other" that you are stepping onto next. This sketchbook is a reflection of how I am re-claiming truth, authenticity, beauty, and deep purpose.
