i usually paint oil on canvas , layered abstracts where each action is a response to what has come before, but also where the obscured, and ommitted is as important as what is shown, as are mistakes. I wanted to use the biographical nature of sketchbooks to tell , and show, but then to obscure - to hide something, while simultaneously shwing myself (through my painting)
