Untitled

by JOYCE PERZ ALBUQUERQUE, NM, United States

theme: Thread and surface

project: SBP: LE

The most personally satisfying art project I have participated in was the 1999 - "Cows on Parade" in Chicago. Hundreds of life-size fiberglass cows were embellished by artists (paint, beads, tiles, etc.) and placed in high traffic areas of the city. i painted my cow "Merci Henri" with cut-out shapes from Matisse's book JAZZ. The public responded to my work at the site and through emails.
